Believed to be the first death of its kind, a driver-less
car recently struck and killed a pedestrian.
As such, this blogger is curious: does the would-be driver then have no
personal culpability in the matter when a robot vehicle kills the otherwise
innocent? Moreover, who is the would-be
driver, for that matter? This blogger
will likely revisit and revise this blog entry upon obtaning further information
regarding this incident. (See: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/19/technology/uber-driverless-fatality.html)
